In 2013 Coles released brand new functionality on the Coles Supplier Portal for Suppliers to manage their own invoices and payment records for all business transactions they have nationally with Coles Supermarkets. The back-end functionality was supported by various software programs such as SAP and RMS.
I was tasked to make a suite of learning materials to introduce Coles’ 6000 plus Suppliers to this new functionality. Most of the Coles Suppliers had never used the Coles Supplier Portal so the change curve was a challenge for many of them – particularly for the farming community and smaller “Mum and Dad” businesses. I designed an end-to-end learning program consisting of printed booklets and software user guides which were sent to Suppliers shortly before the functionality was available. I also produced 12 eLearning modules, support web pages and several Frequently Asked Questions lists.
